O'sensei
Aikido

Aikido is a modern Japanese martial-art (gendai budo), developed by Morihei Ueshiba in the beginning of the 20th century.

For the beginner, training in Aikido may be merely physical, a tool to strengthen the body, and learn self defense.

For those who persevere, deeper layers of training are revealed.

Aikido is a way to improve our physical, mental and emotional condition. Above all, it is a way for us to find our true selves.

"The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit." - Morihei Ueshiba
